It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Semi Bubbleback stainless steel mens watch with a beautiful black dial on a new lamb skin strap. It has been appreciating in value for half a century and will only continue. Model number 6084 serial 797xxx c.

This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). At the time of the detailing the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 645 movement with sweeping seconds hand was inspected, it is running erratically.

It has a tweaked hairspring. It according to the timing machine it is a few minutes fast per day at times and a few minutes slow per day at times. On the wrist simulator it was about a minute and a half fast after 24 hours. Your results may vary, no guarantees.

To be right it needs a new hairspring which we can not locate. If you want a watch to wear out to dinner and look like a watch that cost you 3 times what you paid this is for you. The case and crystal were lightly polished to a scratch free shine and the lug tops satin refinished. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it's an average sized mens watch for the time period, current standards would be to call it a mid sized watch which looks great on ladies too). The coin edges on the case back show no some slipped tool marks.

The band is a non Rolex quality French made Lamb skin leather strap with plain unsigned clasp. The dial has been refinished in the aftermarket in the distant past and shows age patina again. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. This is a beautiful example of this model.
