Omega Seamaster 200M OmegaMatic, Ref. 2514.50.00 Hybrid Quartz Black Dial Watch. This Omega Seamaster 200 M OmegaMatic, reference 2514.50.00features a 36.25 mm stainless steel case surrounding a black dial on astainless steel bracelet with folding buckle.

The Omega logo at the clasp is14K gold! The watch features the OmegaMatic caliber 1400, a hybrid of quartzprecision and automatic rotor-winding that continuously energizes an internalcapacitor for power.

In simple terms, the rotor spins the gears to turn a'dynamo' (for want of a better word) which charges the capacitor (like abattery), this then powers the watch. These originally had the capacity for a100 hours power reserve between charges and "never needed abattery". However, over the course of the life of the watch the capacitorsmay become unable to store the charge for long.

The cure is quite simple -thecapacitor will need replacing. Thankfully, this has just been undertaken onthis watch which now runs smoothly and fully.

Graced with real tritium patina dials, these Omega Seamaster OmegaMaticdivers are an emerging vintage Omega watch option for collectors of the brandand enthusiasts alike. Produced only between 1995 and 2000, here isyour opportunity to own a piece of Omega watch history -a timepiece which ismost attractive, running well and in very good condition! For this example theserial number indicates a production date of 1995 (from published tables). Functionsinclude hours, minutes, seconds and date. The watch also measures 9.9 mm inthickness and 43 mm from lug-to-lug.

Please note that the bracelet just about fits a 7 inch wrist. To becomfortable at this size an extra half link would make it a perfect fit. You may need to remove a half link or wholelink if your wrist is smaller. Should you require a link to be removed I wouldbe happy to do so upon request as adding/removing links is a little tricky, involving a pin and small tubes and a bit of patience!
